Testimonials
Behavioral Coaching Helps
“I felt all alone and out of options with my son’s anger. My behavioral coach was by my side teaching him how to recognize and manage his own anger.” Kathy T., Peoria, AZ
Tantrum Help
“My child’s tantrum got out of control. He started throwing things at us, kicking his sisters and hitting them. We didn’t know what to do. We tried to just put him in his room but he would tear it apart. His tantrums could go on for as long as an hour. Everything we did seemed to make it worse. Teresa helped us support his tantrum recovery instead of making it worse.” – Julie D., Mesa, AZ
Diet Awareness
“I never knew how much diet plans a role in a child’s behavior before I met my behavioral coach. Now I always carry cheese sticks around with me when I am going on road trips with my children. You just never know when they are going to run out of gas and then become emotional. Cheese sticks offer quick protein that has saved me from many emotional meltdowns.” – Andy F, Glendale, AZ
Transitional Anxiety
“My daughter worries about everything. I quickly learned that I can decrease her anxiety by reminding her about what is coming up next. Now she has picked up the skill and is reminding me and I am less anxious. Robin T., Scottsdale, AZ
Talents behind the Temperament
“I couldn’t believe that my 4-year old daughter was being kicked out of daycare. She was bullying the other kids and throwing huge tantrums when she wasn’t getting her way. My behavioral coach helped me see her leadership talent underneath the bullying behavior. Now she’s comfortable helping her peers instead forcing them.” Allen P., Phoenix, AZ
Relationship Support
“My teenager used to never talk to me. Talking meant us arguing over what he wasn’t doing. After about a month of me committing to One-On-One time, my daughter came to me asked for my opinion on what she should do about another girl who was bullying her at school. She would never have done that in the past.” – Tianna D., Phoenix, AZ
Behavior Problems Can Get Better
“I use Eric’s ‘swoop technique’ all the time now. I used to try to problem solve and convince my four year old why he couldn’t go to the park or why he had to clean up his toys. This usually only made things worse. He would throw full-on tantrums and throw toys at me. Now I give him his space and he gets over it quicker.” – Eileen V., Mesa, AZ
Environment Matters
“My daughters are nine and ten years old. I now encourage them to work out their own battles but sometimes they are just on edge waiting to blow. My behavior coach reminded me to look out for things in the environment that could make their behavior worse. It could be because of lack of sleep, their hungry or just one of those days. Directing them into other rooms sometimes can be in everyone’s best interest.” – Nick R., Phoenix, AZ
Supporting Emotional Change
“Most mornings when I am trying to get my 3 year old to daycare he gets upset and does not want to leave me. Once he is there he loves it. The problem is getting him out the door, in the car, and into daycare. Using the ‘Swoop, Support and Reboot’ technique, I can usually get him through it quicker. He still gets upset, but I can help him through it better now. I know I’ve got him ‘rebooted’ when he starts arguing with me about who does what in the story I am telling him.” Michelle T., Phoenix, AZ
