Mission Statement: The mission of Independence Behavioral Coaching (IBC) is to help parents and teachers celebrate children’s talents to discover their best selves.

Vision Statement: Our vision at IBC is to create and develop a worldwide guide for positive growth.

IBC has adopted and is committed to the core values developed by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

IBC Core Values

NASW’s Code of Ethics is broken down into six core values, which include:

-       Service

-       Social justice

-       Dignity and worth of the person

-       Importance of human relationships

-       Integrity

-       Competence

NAEYC also has a set of core values, which outline a professional commitment to:

Appreciate childhood as a unique and valuable stage of the human life cycle

Base our work on knowledge of how children develop and learn

Appreciate and support the bond between the child and family

Recognize that children are best understood and supported in the context of family, culture, community, and society

Respect the dignity, worth, and uniqueness of each individual (child, family member, and colleague)

Respect diversity in children, families, and colleagues

Recognize that children and adults achieve their full potential in the context of relationships that are based on trust and respect

-       Behavioral Coaching: Learn how to role-playing and practicing recommended behavioral support techniques to bring about positive change.

-       Behavioral Consultation: Get help in your classroom with your students challenging behaviors, increase general education and special education communication and support.

-       Daycare/Schools Behavioral Trainings: Train your teachers how to use proactive behavior management strategies, direct practice and role-play difficult behavior management and crisis de-escalation.

Phone and/or Online Service Delivery

IBC offers behavioral assessment and coaching services via phone or online scheduling.
